Mahogany Glass Bookcase, Restoration Period – Part 1, 19th Century
This bookcase in solid mahogany and burl mahogany veneer, opens with two glass doors with mitered frames on the front. In the lower part, each door is darkened by a panel over approximately one third of its height. The right door is equipped with a brass entry with original functional lock accompanied by its key. The interior is lined with three solid shelves adjustable in height on racks. This bookcase is topped by a projecting cornice with ogee and rests on a plinth ending in slightly hollowed feet. ******** Period: 1st part of the 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
