Royal Worcester Parian Figures By A. Azori “le Miroir” & “le Panier”

A fine, rare pair of Royal Worcester Parian bisque figures, models 5585 and 5588, titled “Le Miroir” and “Le Panier,” modelled in 1966 by Antonio Azori. Each figure—31 cm high gentleman offering a flower (844 g) and 30 cm high lady adjusting her hair (717 g)—sits upon a cylindrical pedestal with square plinth. Bearing factory stamps, impressed shape numbers, model titles and “Modelled by A. Azori,” these limited author-series pieces revive 18th-century Parian traditions in exceptionally small editions. Both in pristine condition, no chips or restorations.
