19th Century Red Brown Leather Wing Armchair
A high-quality, late 19th-century Victorian period red-brown leather full-button wing armchair in the George III style. The substantial, well-shaped frame features a deep-buttoned upholstered seat, back, and arms, all covered in the original red-brown leather. The chair boasts scrolling arms, a sprung seat, and close-nailed brass stud detailing. It is raised on square tapering legs with H-frame stretchers. The chair has a beautiful, untouched color and rich patination, and it is very comfortable.The seat height is 47cm.In very good original condition, this armchair offers both comfort and aesthetic charm. Its red brown color, showcases a fantastic hue and patina that can only be achieved through years of care and maintenance.
