Exceptional bronze sculpture with original green-brown patina representing NAPOLEON ON FOOT signed on the terrace COLOMBO and dated 1885 (year of his death). This is one of the last works of the artist representing General Napoleon BONAPARTE in military uniform with his famous Cornu hat, superb original nuanced patina and in perfect condition. Very large, this sculpture is very impressive for its realism and the quality of its chiseling (face, details of the clothing etc ...) Renzo COLOMBO is an Italian sculptor born in Milan, he was a student of the Florence academy.
