Beautiful 19th century animal sculpture, 15cm, a fighting bull, black patinated athlete with bony horns, iattacking position, in an impressive posture that I had the pleasure of photographing. Our village of Bellegarde has always held these superb animals in true veneration.
Good condition, patina a little worn, no deformation or breakage.
French school sculpture, unsigned, comparable for quality to Vienna bronzes.
