An impressive terracotta dating from the beginning of the 20th century art nouveau representing a couple of villagers probably Flemish.
A very lively sculpture, the scene takes place outdoors, the dress of the young girl seems to be carried by the wind, the drapery is borrowed from a great realism.
The young man seems to ask for a kiss from the smiling young girl busy carrying a large basket.
The attitudes are very natural and the faces of the young people are charming.
Do not hesitate to ask me for more photos. Both wear clogs and their typical clothes from the end of the 19th century are reminiscent of Flanders.
A very large terracotta with an original mixture of terracotta and stucco inside for the sake of solidity.
The bronze-green patina is original and very beautiful, it plays well with the light.

It is signed twice P.Roy on the terrace and numbered 2801/18.
