Pair Of Sideboards

Very refined pair of sideboards from the early 19th century and of French origin.
Made with an ebonized wooden structure and finely inlaid with floral motifs and vase decorations in various precious wood essences. Each element is an example of high cabinetmaking, enriched with elegant gilded bronze inserts and inlays in bois de rose, maple and rosewood. The fronts have an upper drawer and a lower door with mirrored decorations, characterized by a central floral composition that evokes the Baroque decorative richness. The wavy and grooved legs end on turned feet, connected by a shaped crosspiece with a central turned element, which gives stability and momentum to the structure.
