A fine early Biedermeier three-piece chest of drawers from southern Germany, circa 1820.
Cherry veneer over softwood. Ebonized moldings, keystone coats of arms, and half-columns. Floral capitals adorn the chest with floral scroll motifs. Interior with original iron chest locks and three keys. Restored condition, hand-polished shellac.
