"Georges Jacob, Small Louis XVI Period Desk Table, Mahogany"
Elegant small desk table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, rectangular shape; it opens with two side drawers, one with compartments for writing utensils. Sheathed legs ending with roller shoes, the white veined marble top surrounded by an openwork brass gallery (a small lack on the latter) J ME and stamp of Georges Jacob, work from the Louis XVI period from the end of the 18th century Very well built, this pretty table is presented in its old "juice", never touched, only the pull handles, replaced by buttons, tiny lacks of mahogany We can take care of the restoration in our workshop on estimate Georges Jacob master in 1765
