"Combination Of A Crushing Spoon And A Sugar Tong, Vermeil, Old Man's Hallmark "
A collection of a Restoration period silver-gilt sugar tongs and a large crushing spoon for sugar and mint in a cocktail glass or, more prosaically, for crushing medicine. Both pieces bear the hallmark of the old man, and the sugar tongs bear an antique mask. Of different provenance, they match rather well, both bearing the decorative elements of the Restoration. They are in excellent condition.
