"Ancient African Mask"
Traditional Dan mask in carved wood, originating from Ivory Coast, probably from the early to mid-20th century. The face has typical stylized features: tapered chin, fine scarifications, narrow eyes. Old patina, with signs of use and natural wear of the wood, evidence of ritual or ceremonial use. West Africa (Ivory Coast) 20th century.
