Surrealist Landscape/vallauris/jules Agard
Artist: Jules Agard 1905/1986
Technical director of the Madoura pottery workshop in Vallauris, Jules AGARD was Picasso's regular collaborator for 22 years. Nicknamed "Picasso's turner", he complemented his talent as a ceramist with that of a painter. From a series of surrealist landscapes created between 1964 and 1968, almost all in 20F size, our work is dated 1967 and signed, titled on the back landscape. Mixed technique, with the use of pigments probably from the pottery workshop.
