BLADE: It is a Shinogi Zukuri shaped blade. In very good general condition. However, we will note a loosening of the grain of the steel on the Omote side, in the Ji, and a little in the yakiba, 5 cm from the tip, which probably appeared following polishing.
The temperline (yakiba/hamon) is in Gunome Midare, very rich with Nie and Nioï present.
It is everywhere present without any lack. The temper at the tip, not very clear, seems Yaki tsune.
The hada (grain of the steel) is a Masame in the shinogi Ji, and Itame with Nagare (elongated grains) in the Ji.
These characteristics evoke a work of the school of Nobu Kuni, Yamashiro province, then Chikuzen province.
NB: Japanese blades are always very difficult to photograph and the photos do not do justice to this blade, which is better in reality than what the images suggest.
The certain attribution of a blade to a school or even to a specific blacksmith being an ultra specialized discipline in Japan, I will be careful not to give more than an indication.
