The first bag from Maison HERMES, the Haut à ceintures, was born in 1892. Originally intended to carry the rider's boots and saddles, this trapezoidal bag became a travel bag with the arrival of the automobile and is now suitable for all the uses of modern life. The one you are offering dates from the end of the 19th century. It has been restored in many places. The photos will be quite explicit. There are none on the market from this period. The patina is exceptional.
