Description: Evocative 19th-century carousel horse, entirely crafted in carved and painted wood, featuring remarkably expressive details. The body, compact and slender, retains its original dynamic energy, while the finely worked head is strikingly realistic in its gaze. Fully original, the horse is adorned with a mane and tail made of natural horsehair, and rests on sturdy wooden wheels typical of carousel pieces from the period. A rare collector’s item, preserved through time with all its charm, it stands as a testament to Italian craftsmanship and the joyful world of antique carousels.
