Empire Period Table Centrepiece
Oval-shaped table centerpiece from the Empire period with a mirrored base surrounded by a chased and gilded bronze gallery decorated with four pilasters resting on double claw feet. The whole is decorated with palmettes, rosettes and small flutes. The mirror which allowed the light from the chandeliers and candelabras to be reflected is in good condition, it rests on an oak base.
