Pair of Japanese Cloisonne Plates Meiji Period 1868-1912 with turquoise background in good condition. They have a 1.7 cm. border with a dark background composed of geometric cornices and mustard-coloured flowers; inside we find branches of peach blossoms, peonies and chrysanthemums in splendid bloom animated by two black and white sparrows. The back is enamelled in turquoise with brass swirls on the brim. One of the two plates has a slight deformation at the top of the brim.
