Object description :

" Removable Plaster Brain On Base"
Unsigned, 1st half of the 20th century (circa 1930).
Hand-painted plaster, metal parts, on a varnished mahogany base.
Didactic model of the human brain, probably German or French.
Can be dismantled into 4 parts: cerebrum, cerebellum, isthmus of the encephalon and medulla oblongata. Hand-painted structure, parts are indicated by numbering and letters in black handwritten ink. Complete brain, beautifully made, slight cracks in places.
A number "E43" has been painted on the base (old educational model for a school).
