Late 19th century: Ferdinand Barbedienne workshops (1810-1892). Five-leaf fireplace screen or "fire screen" in gilded bronze and brass. Richly chiseled decoration of musician putti, pearl nets and foliate handles. The dark metal lattice leaves with geometric decoration. "FB" stamp on the reverse. Very good condition, little wear and deformation. Traces of use on the lattice, visible on the images. Dimensions: unfolded length: 185 centimeters. Dimensions of a sheet: 69.5 x 35.5 centimeters.
