"Nude Male Bronze From The Roman Period"
Bronze statuette representing a young nude man in contrapposto, his head tilted and holding a drapery folded over his left shoulder. The stylized treatment of the face, the supple posture and the idealized nudity evoke classical Greek models, typical of Roman productions between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD. Original wear revealing traces of gilding or mineral deposits, dark patina of antiquity.
