Empire period mahogany fireplace screen with detached columns and chiseled and gilded bronze ornamentation. This set rests on a four-legged base forming circular arcs. The central frame of this screen is removable and covered with new tapestry with Empire-style laurel motifs. French polish. In very good condition. Parisian work from the Empire period, circa 1810.
