17th century oratory, in solid oak with two doors on wrought iron mortise tab. Lower part 55 cm in total depth with 1 shelf and upper part 20 cm in total depth with 2 shelves adjustable in height. A flap, lectern which allows storage and to put a book; characterful piece of furniture, pretty patina, very interesting narrow piece of furniture with its storage in the upper part. This type of oratory was placed in the bedrooms of manors and castles and served as a private chapel,8
