Very beautiful work probably Parisian for this oak wood wall console.The belt is openwork and carved.
A rosette surrounded by stylized acanthus leaves decorates the front.
Two moving feet are very finely carved in relief. They are connected by a spacer topped with a scallop shell where a central flat upright is inserted.
Red marble top with bec de corbin molding.
Usual restoration: the tips of the feet as well as a reinforcement on the back. (See photos)
