Glass and bronze stair banister ball – Murano, 19th century

Elegant glass and bronze stair banister ball, made in Murano in the 19th century.
This model is adorned with a superb millefiori glass decoration, characteristic of the know-how of Venetian master glassmakers.
The glass body features a red and white spiral pattern with inclusions of colored glass canes on the top.
The patinated bronze base has perforations for fixing.

Dimensions: • Height: 11.5 cm • Diameter: 8 cm
Condition: Some traces of oxidation on the base, visible in the photos, without affecting the solidity of the whole.
The glass is in excellent condition.
