Impressionist school, British symbolist. Nymph and peacocks in a clearing. The work, in excellent condition, is painted on cardboard and presented in a beautiful old canal frame, also in good condition. The artist is British. Alexander Brantingham Simpson. He exhibited at the Royal Academy (1904-1920) and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (1904-1931). He painted a wide variety of subjects. Small format, 20 cm x 16 cm for the panel alone. With the frame, 43.5 cm x 39 cm.
