Diorama depicting The Last Supper, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's famous fresco, dating from around 1880. This work incorporates an original animated mechanism: sand flowed behind the image to subtly activate the characters' arms and heads, thus accompanying the storyteller's narrative. The ingenious device gave a sense of life to the protagonists, creating a true mechanical animation that enriched the visual and narrative experience.
