Louis XV Bed In Silk From The 19th Century

Louis XV style double bed in grey-green lacquered wood. Headboard and footboard with scrolls decorated with molded and carved foliage and gilded flowers. Side rails with molded and carved floral bouquets. Feet and belts with carved decorations of foliage bouquets. The bed has been reupholstered in silk lampas with tulip flower branch motifs and matching silk piping (Italian manufacture). Beautiful work from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
