Naturalist composition from the 19th century (Napoleon III period) comprising 8 stuffed birds (yellow canary, goldfinch, bullfinch, hoopoe, sandpiper, starling, chaffinch and kingfisher) carefully arranged around a nest, staged with branches. The whole is protected by an imposing glass globe mounted on a blackened wooden base. This very beautiful object of curiosity is in very good condition, offering a superb testimony to the naturalist know-how of the time
