Educational cardboard titled the first four rules of arithmetic by Charier père around 1860. Two octagonal printed cardboard discs (maximum width: 38 cm), connected by a golden nail. The upper disc is pierced with small windows. A wooden driving button allows it to rotate. By operating the upper disc, the child performs operations in the 4 rules; the results immediately appear in the four corresponding windows. Instructions on the back. 4 engravings (scenes of children being studied) and various ornaments. By operating the top disc, the child poses problems in the 4 basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and sees the result immediately appear in a small window. Very rare.
