Set of 8 solid silver plates, Elegant Life Set of 8 solid silver plates made by the Viennese silversmith Josef Carl Klinkosch (1822-1888), one of the most prestigious silversmiths of the Austrian imperial court. Dating from the second half of the 19th century, these plates are adorned with a delicate border decoration of palmettes, characteristic of the Empire style. Klinkosch, whose pieces were among the most refined of the time, benefited from an imperial patent granted by Emperor Franz Joseph. These plates demonstrate the exceptional know-how of the Klinkosch house, renowned for its high-quality work and its prestigious clientele, including high society and the Austrian aristocracy.
