Embroidery And Trimmings On Wild Silk Of A Female Profile From The 1900
This female profile from the 1900s was embroidered on a wild silk background, surrounded by a satin ribbon. The face motif was lined with fleece to give it relief, and made up of a passementerie motif enhanced with brass beads. The embroidery is in a wooden frame whose glazing has been changed to anti-reflective glass. The back of the frame and the attachment have been replaced. The embroidery is in very good condition.
