Original frame in patinated and gilded wood with neoclassical motif. Good general condition, dimensions: 72 cm X 60 cm Bernard Louis BORIONE, French painter of genre subjects and interiors. Born in Paris, he was a pupil of his father and the artist Évariste-Vital Luminais. BORIONE's works are richly colored and masterfully painted, which explains why his popularity has remained constant over the years. The use of episcopal colors purple or red enhances the artist's palette and adds richness to the already sumptuous interior.
