Pair of 19th century torches, made up of 18th century fire pots in gilded and silvered wood for the base and wrought iron foliage for the branches. The assembly is old, and it is probably altar decorations. Given the use of silver leaf and "a la mecca" gilding, the provenance is certainly Provençal or Italian. It will be very pretty with tall ivory wax candles.
