Alfred Pina, born in Milan in 1887, died in 1966, is a French sculptor of Italian origin. He studied in Milan and came to Paris in 1911. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1911 to 1914. He received numerous commissions for busts and settled in Montparnasse. The retrospective exhibition of his works at the Allard gallery in 1920 was a great success. He settled in Nièvre then returned to Paris where he met his Italian friends again. In 1929, he organized an exhibition of Italian artists in Paris. He settled in Mesves sur Loire, obtained French nationality through marriage and died in 1966.
