Centerpiece bowl in 800 thousandths silver and crystal, German Rococo style, late 19th century Superb centerpiece bowl or planter in 800 thousandths silver, in a pure German Rococo style, characterized by abundant ornamentation and particularly refined openwork work. The decoration is richly chiseled with floral, leafy and flower basket motifs, all embellished with asymmetrical volutes typical of the Rococo style. The whole rests on a pedestal decorated with the same finesse, presenting a delicate openwork which accentuates the lightness and elegance of the piece. Inside, a perfectly adjusted crystal completes this work of goldsmithing, in excellent condition, without chips or cracks. Dimensions: • Height: 21 cm • Diameter: 17 cm • Weight: 428 g (excluding crystal) The silver has a beautiful original patina, highlighting the quality of the work. An exceptional piece, demonstrating the expertise of German goldsmiths from the end of the 19th century, ideal for refined decoration.
