"Large Sitzendorf Porcelain Parrot "
Very beautiful and large parrot (31 cm) in German porcelain from Saxony. Early 20th century. It was in 1760 that Georg Heinrich Macheleid discovered the porcelain manufacturing process. Two years later, he opened a factory in Volkstedt. The one in Sitzendorf opened again in 1850 under the leadership of Wilhelm Liebmann. The foliage and flowers are applied in slip, slight lacks at the level of the flowers. Delivery costs for France: €30
