Strawberry Drainer Delft Earthenware 18th Century
Rare Delft earthenware drainer or strawberry dish. Oval and shapely, it has two twisted handles and rests on three feet (note a foot that was previously glued back on). Very beautiful floral decoration in shades of blue on a white background. Special feature: the bottom pierced with a Chinese motif. Signature under the base: Fabrique de "l'A Grec", mark of Jacobus HALDER ADRIENS 1765. Good general condition despite some chips around the edge. 18th century period.
