Ottoman Half Okka Sejukhide Bronze Weight
Bronze cup that has crossed the centuries…. This weight of a value of 681 gr is called a half-Oka. This unit of measurement used in the Ottoman Empire lasted until 1959. This weight is monogrammed on the back MV it dates from 1924 He must not have been happy the merchant who was checked in 1937 (nice mark) 1939 and six others . . control punches which testify to the great use of the object. It presents, on both sides many traces of its life….. 13cm in diameter, 1.5 cm high and one cm thick.
