Robert Cloutier (1930-2008) & Jean Cloutier (1930-2015) Oblong dish with a motif of a bathing blue bird c. 1980 Signed on the reverse Dimensions: 14.5 cm x 36.5 cm A slight chip under the right edge, almost invisible when viewed from the front. Ref. A3400004 The Cloutier twins trained at the Meaux ceramics school, then joined the workshops of prestigious ceramists such as George Jouve and Pol Chambost in particular. They opened their own workshop in 1955.
