Beautiful Floral Composition By The Belgian Painter Léon Frédéric, Dated 1912.

Léon Frédéric was born in 1856 in Brussels. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, then worked in the studio of Jean-François Portaels. He prepared for the Prix de Rome, where he went, and became a very popular painter in Belgium. Many paintings by this excellent Belgian painter can be admired in many museums, including the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. He died in 1940.
