Oriental Cavalry Sabre England 19th century Steel, brass, bone Total length: 96.7 cm; Blade length: 84 cm Curved steel blade with one edge and flat back, engraved with leafy motifs, a bundle of weapons, the seal of Solomon, a crown and the English coat of arms. Straight guard with two quillons, decorated with foliage, a laurel wreath and bundles of weapons. Curved bone handle with two brass flowers, opening for the passage of a strap. Brass scabbard with two bail rings with its buffalo strap.
