Beautiful Solid Silver Jug, Old Man, Mascaron, Camel Head And Ram.
Solid silver jug in the Restoration style and period, decorated with 3 rows of palmettes, the spout ending in a camel's head.
Wooden handle resting on a mascaron and ending in a beautiful ram's head.
Very good condition, piece repolished by a goldsmith, very shiny, but rare small dents on the body that are not very visible, see last photo.
Vieillard hallmark (1819-1838) 1st title (950 ‰) Parisian and its corresponding guarantee hallmark.
Goldsmith's hallmark: Marc Augustin Lebrun, insculpation 1810.
Discreet period monogram "RM" in a shield.
Dimensions: height: 27 cm, maximum width, from the spout to the grip: 2 cm, body width: 11.5 cm.
Gross weight: 728 g.
