Set Of 6 Solid Mahogany Chairs, Art Deco – 1940
Set of six solid mahogany chairs with a seat with a crosspiece around the edge, squared on the inside and resting on two quarter-round front legs and two sabre-shaped rear legs. The generous and comfortable seat, in green marbled imitation leather, is recessed and screwed from below. The slightly curved backrest (suitable for all backs) has a wide vertical band carved with grapes formed by a bunch and vine leaves. These are reliable chairs due to their solidity. ******** Period: 1940 Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish: waxed on hard base.
