Georgian Iberian Diamond Earrings In 14k Gold, Antique Jewelry, 18th Century, Spain
Georgian iberian diamond earrings in 14 karat gold (585), in the shape of a flower set with seven rose-cut diamonds. The flower holds a pear-shaped tassel also set with a small diamond. The reverse of the earring is decorated with fine chiseling. At that time, diamonds were rarely pure and that is why they appeared very gray (due to inclusions). Cutting them was difficult, which made the stones irregular. Earrings of Spanish origin, 18th century.
