Superb brass wall light, 18th century, from the Netherlands. Wall plate in cut, openwork and punched brass with stylistic friezes, decorated in the upper part with two tulips (emblematic flower of Holland) in a heart. Oval tray fixed by riveting with hemmed edge and serving as a receptacle for a central socket. Original pierced bronze socket, the nut that holds it underneath is later. A similar model is presented at the Zeeus Museum in the Netherlands that you can view by clicking HERE Please note: a beautiful, fairly rare model that I consider to be in very good condition. Delivery: €15 for mainland France.
