Coffee Table Model "x" By Jacques Adnet
Artist: Jacques Adnet (1900-1984)
"X" coffee table with minimalist shapes, by Jacques Adnet (1900-1984): this table is made up of a 1cm thick glass top with rounded edges on a black lacquered metal tubular base in an X shape highlighted with gilded brass cabochons and especially these rings at the four corners suspended from gilded brass balls which are the designer's signature and make the model unique.
We also note the brass arrow finish of the 4 legs accentuating the lightness of the table.
Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) is an architect, decorator and designer creator graduated from the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, distinguished in 1958 by General de Gaulle, after having fitted out the private apartments of President Auriol at the Elysée in 1937 and the Majestic Hotel in Cannes in 1950.
The glass is original and has some scratches: it can be replaced on request.
