Louis XVI Walnut Bookcase, 19th Century. (179cm X 150cm)

Lovely little bookcase in solid walnut, Louis XVI style, dating from the end of the 19th century. It opens with four glass doors (two double doors). It also opens with two large drawers in the high belt. It has fluted columns on the corners, there is also a half fluted column in the center. It has 6 modular shelves, allowing them to be placed at the desired height. There are four keys in all, one for each double door, and one for each drawer. The keys and locks work. The drawer handles and lock entries are in gilded bronze. This bookcase rests on five feet, three in front and two at the back. The front feet are round in section, sheathed, finished with a bronze shoe. This small bookcase is in good condition, note its wear from use and time. Also note a slight crack on the top. Dimensions: 179cm wide, 150cm high, 33cm deep.
