Bronze Sculpture "the Dog" Signed Patrick Lang

Bronze sculpture representing a large dog, numbered 3/8 and signed Lang. Dimensions: 0.80m long, 0.70m high and 20cm wide for the terrace. Patrick Lang born in 1948 in Strasbourg, graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The plastic approach of this sculptor, marked by his transition to painting, allows color to play a key role in his work. With his return to sculpture he chose the bestiary to reappropriate the volume, inscribing his work in a more universal register. He explores masses and volumes without seeking to impose a narrative. His bestiary, with its anthropomorphism, invites a reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, highlighting the fragility of our living space. Patrick Lang exhibits permanently and temporarily in several galleries in France, Switzerland and Germany.
