Eight boxwood cases is fun to read very quickly eight times… Word play aside, I love turned boxwood, firstly because it is a pretty hardwood that allows precise work and its very shimmering honey colour. Set of eight pharmacy bottles that were bottle and flask protectors in the past (after the 18th century). Containers had to be transported from a lab to a practitioner or vice versa, the boxwood case played a full role. Today more often relegated to decorative purposes, they form a very visual ensemble.
