Large oil painting on canvas by Pierre Lagarde in a very beautiful gilded frame of Louis XIV stule. Pierre Lagarde creates works inviting meditation, the artist's touch makes the anxiety and desolation palpable after bad weather. It is on the advice of the famous painter Puvis De Chavannes that he restricts his palette in order to accentuate the timeless character of his works.
